Judge me, O God and support my cause against an ungodly nation: release me from the unjust and deceitful man: for you are my strength in adversity. Pour out Your light and truth; let them lead me to your holy hill and into your holy places.

Psalm 130Out of the depths
I cry to you, O LORD;
O LORD, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplication.
If you were to keep watch over sins,
O LORD, who could stand?
Yet with you is forgiveness,
in order that you may be feared.
I wait for you, O LORD; my soul waits;
in your word is my hope.
O Israel, wait for the LORD,
for with the LORD there is steadfast love;
with the LORD there is plenteous redemption.
Merciful Lord Jesus, grant them rest;
Grant them eternal rest.
Deliver me, O Lord, from death eternal, on that fearful day, when the heavens and the earth shall be moved, when thou shalt come to judge the world by fire. I am made to tremble and I fear, till judgment be upon us, and the coming wrath, when the heavens and the earth shall be moved. That day, day or wrath, calamity, and misery, day of great and exceeding bitterness, when thou shalt come to judge the world by fire. Eternal rest grant to them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
PrayerAlmighty God, your Son came into the world to free us all from sin and death. Breathe upon us the power of your Spirit, that we may be raised to new life in Christ and serve you in righteousness all our days, through Jesus Christ. Amen
