We're no Siskel and Ebert but let's watch and a movie and talk about it! You don't have to be a cinefile to enjoy a good flick. Each month we'll watch a movie (of varying genres) then discuss everything from the opening credits to the nuances of the characters. You provide the chair and snacks from the comfort of your home and we'll take care of the rest.
As we celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride this month, we’ll discuss "The Boys in the Band." Released in September 2020, it is the Netflix film adaptation of the 2018 Broadway play of the same name. Directed by Joe Mantello.
A brief synopsis:: At a birthday party in 1968 New York, a surprise guest and a drunken game leave seven gay friends reckoning with unspoken feelings and buried truths.
