Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, rooted in the promise of Baptism: God brings life from death, renewal from ashes. This Ash Wednesday, as we gather from our homes we remember that we are dust, and to dust we shall return. Marked this day by the sign of the cross of Christ, we begin our forty day journey to the great Three Days of Jesus' death and resurrection.

We invite you to prepare for this liturgy by setting a place before you with a cloth, a candle, and a cross. Join us at 6 pm on zoom to create a cross for this and our Lenten liturgies from everyday materials in your home, led by congregation member Cacaya Gomez.
