Cantor Bálint Karosi’s “Choralair Symphony” for Symphonic Wind Ensemble will premiered at Saint Peter’s on Saturday, April 27 at 3 p.m. by the Wind Symphony of Southern New Hampshire University. The four-movement symphony involves more than fifty wind instruments, percussion and organ, and is based on Lutheran Chorales of the Reformation-era. His newly-released CD, “Existentia” of original orchestral music will be available at after the concert. All four movements are based on famous Luther-era chorales, A Mighty Fortress, All Glory to God on High, With Piece and Joy and How Brightly Shines the Morning Star. Hear a 60+ member wind symphony blast some of the most enduring melodies of Western Music!
