A discussion on mitigating conflict and hate speech in today's toxic environment. In one of the most diverse cities in the world, there is always conflict in making sure that groups from different backgrounds, religions, races, and ethnicities have a way to communicate and be understood. These are our city peacemakers who work tirelessly to foster coexistence to make our city the unique melting pot we all know.

Using the recently published biography of the late Rabbi Marc Tanenbaum as a starting point, Women’s Forum member Dr. Georgette Bennett will engage in a discussion with the Rev. Dr. Calvin O. Butts, III, Pastor, Abyssinian Baptist Church; and Rev. Amandus Derr, Senior Pastor, Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church on mitigating conflict and hate speech in our diverse city.

The discussion will be followed by a private tour of the newly renovated Nevelson Chapel.
