Health and Our Community

The precautions we follow at Saint Peter’s are in accordance with best practices and CDC guidelines, with assistance from our community-assembled COVID-19 Taskforce.

We pray, as has been the case since the very beginning of the pandemic, that we continue to move forward with care for our community, together.

The guidelines posted are current. News coverage of our church community and ways to give to our members in need can be found here. Any updates or changes will be posted on this page.

Saint Peter’s no longer requires masks at liturgies.

Even as Saint Peter’s makes this change, we note that public health guidance continues to convey the efficacy of masks in curbing the spread of COVID19 and other illnesses.

We urge all of us to respect the decisions of those who will continue, for their own precautions, to choose to wear masks. Some among us continue to wear masks in public settings – Saint Peter’s, among them. A number of factors are behind each person’s decision.

As with an increasing number of houses of worship who have made the wearing of masks optional, we will monitor our community’s own well-being in the weeks ahead.

Know Before You Go

Saint Peter’s is hosting in-person liturgies, programming and partner events. If you plan to come to Saint Peter’s, please note the following health and safety practices:

Masks are always encouraged, but not required.

Our staff, paid personnel, and volunteers are fully vaccinated, in compliance with city guidelines and best practices.

We distribute Holy Communion, both bread and cup, for those who wish to receive.

Due to the effects of COVID-19 and the city water main break, we are currently able to host a limited number of small-scale partner events. Our events require compliance with our health and safety guidelines. If your organization is interested in hosting an event here, please email administrator@saintpeters.org.

If there are any questions or concerns about these guidelines for on-site activity at Saint Peter’s, please contact: administrator@saintpeters.org
