This night is the most anticipated of nights in the church’s liturgical life as it, with Jesus, passes from death to life. More specifically, this night the great promise of Easter becomes the promise of all in the body of Christ: as Jesus passes from death to life, so too do we.

The Three Days: Good Friday - Liturgy of the Cross

Join us for the 6:30 p.m. bilingual Solemn Liturgy of the Cross broadcast from home. This is the most solemn and subdued liturgies of the church year, and as such you may wish to prepare simply by placing a cross before you. Candles, icons, flowers and other objects return with the festivities of Easter. Members of Saint Peter’s Creative Proclamations present a bilingual reading of the Passion narrative.

The Three Days: Holy Thursday - Liturgy of Reconciliation and Mass of the Lord’s Supper

Join us for the 6:30 p.m. bilingual Solemn Mass of the Lord’s Supper with the Rite of Reconciliation broadcast from home. You may wish to prepare by setting a place to mark this time with a cloth, a candle, a cross or icon. Also, you may place a small linen before you, as a sign of service much as Jesus served his disciples as he washed their feet.
